It’s a brave new world. I didn’t know this was possible. Don’t call me crazy but some people who claim to have been abducted by aliens have been found to have some very tiny strange-alloy devices implanted under their skin. No one knows what their purpose is.
This also reminds me of the 50’s sci-fi movie Invaders from Mars in which a boy’s parents, among others, are implanted with controlling electrodes by the aliens.
In my location, there has been no measurable rain for six weeks, and only 1.62 inches of total rain since July 1. I grew up in Southern California and I’ve never seen it this dry. I am expecting water rates to skyrocket and I’ve already begun to limit my use of water, such as saving all cold water in a Reliance container while waiting for the faucet to heat up. I use that saved water in several ways: washing hands, watering plants, etc.
In the early Sixties, California built a reservoir and aqueduct system to counter the possibility of a 5-year drought. What happened? Why isn’t the water there? The Democrat-controlled legislature has some ‘splainin’ to do. As does Gov. ‘Moonbeam’ Brown, whose father was governor when the water system was built.
